As the owner of one of the biggest poker domain ports, I sure would love to see this go for hundreds, or even thousands. I just don't see it happening.
Poker domain names CAN go for a lot if they have a lot of type-in traffic because the PPC rates for poker are off the charts. But this one is too long to get type-in traffic. It's only value would come from developing it, and there are plenty of strong brands available to just hand register. OK... so you want to become a poker professional and you need some instruction. While the concept seems plausible, there are too many negatives working against this domain including length and lack of type in traffic. I estimate value at $50-$100. Good luck -

The major con for this domain is that I really do not see it getting any type in traffic because of the length of the domain.
That being said I think that this could be a great domain name for a poker membership site. I think that if one is creative enough they could pretty easily find a domain name that is a little more brandable (and shorter)... read more |

The difference between the domain ending in "instructor" and "instruction" is about 5K in this case but if I had to pay for a domain I would take this lower priced domain because I think it's a better value.
Poker still has value but it's not what it was 2 years ago. No doubt this has value and could easily be monetized. I think the value is a few hundred dollars but the auction should bring $100 to $150. |

I think this is a good solid name but as for the price its hard to call.
There are people out there who work as Poker Instructors and I believe would like to own this domain but for a domainer auction probally going to see a sale in the $$$ but one I would say wouldnt be too hard to flip for $$$$ to the right person. Regards, Robbie CheapRims.us |

This is a good domain, but suffers from keyword relevancy. Both "Poker" and "Instructor" are great keywords. Unfortunately, when you put the two together you'll find a far less popular keyword pair.
Last year less than 200 people searched for "poker instructor" on Google compared to over 13 million people who searched for "poker". Next to "poker", "poker world" is the most valuable keyword combination as this had the... read more |
