GreatVenues.com is an end user domain name. That is, it is not a name you would see getting consistent type in traffic. It needs to be branded to be seen and branding costs a lot on money. Thus this great name is worth little upfront but would gain and hold the value of branding attempts. The outlook for this domain is not good in the near-term but does hold promise down the road. I would feel I was taken for a ride above $250 but would consider this a nice diversion below $100. Estimate $100 to $200.

It is gone in most extensions. It's available in the dot tv and us. 87,500 google results for "great venues". Only 2 sponsored ads on page one of Google. It could be a good end user name but I don't see a lot of advertisers. I agree with Robert, I don't think it will get much if any type in traffic. It could be a good flip if you don't mind cold calling end users. Archive's first record of the domain is Feb 2003. The name has always been parked. My guess $200 - $300

Do a search of "venues" and what is the first result in Google?... UniqueVenues.com. With some skilled SEO, why couldn't that be GreatVenues.com up there? The Adwords keyword tool reports 450,000 searches for "venues" in July and high advertiser competition. Get... read more |
