eDaycare.com makes a great brandable domain. "e" type domains are catchy and command high value from buyers .
This could be a domain for a children daycare as well as a pet daycare, or could even take a twist and be made into a website to spend leisure time, such as playing online games and trivia, etc.

This domain has plenty of history, links, age, and is Y! directory listed under childcare directories.

Comparable Sales:
DayCare.org sold for $16,500 in May, 08
iCare.net sold for $4,888 in November, 06
DayCare.info sold for $1,250 in October, 07
DayCareAdvice.com sold for $300 in January, 08
DayCareNYC.com sold for $396 in March, 07

This is a fantastic name, even though I'm not sure what the E in eDaycare means. I'd like to imagine it as a locally-focused, with social features, directory of day-care and pre-school providers. As a parent, I know finding these services is very time-consuming and stressful and the Internet would definitely be a place to get referrals and advice.

The name by itself is in great form: the plural doesn't make sense, it's short and does makes sense with the 'E'. Take a...

Contrary to what the description might say, this is a poor quality brand name. I am not a fan of the "e" prefix. The comparable sales are really not comparable at all.

Like the other commentaries imply, this domain would only merit a bid if you are interested in developing and quickly flipping a day care website for a mediocre profit.

Developing this domain is it's only hope. Martin Goetzinger has some good ideas. I especially like #2 in his list.

If you win eDayCare.com, please promise me this, don't turn it into a brand for a brick and mortar daycare service provider. I mean, could you actually imagine parents telling other parents that they need to run and pick their kids up from eDayCare? It would be another story if parents could simply upload and download their little brats.

This is a really really good name. It currently has a Google page rank of 4 and verifiable Alexa traffic. It shows up on the Archive wayback machine as first being registered in 1999. Developed into a nice litte site until 2003. That's awesome. History was my favorite subject. It also has some 80 plus Yahoo backlinks. It is gone in the dot net extension and available in everything else, but who cares. My quess someone steals it for under a grand.

A+ domain name for development. There are so many ways to make money from this domain:

1. List every daycare in the US, charge for premium listings.

2. Sell related software to daycare providors such as accounting, child tracking, etc.

3. Ads - either specific ones like Sylvan Learning Centers or more generic Adwords

You also have an opportunity...

I'm a little late in posting a comment but I 100% agree with Mark Fulton. I hate the "e" and the "i" at the beginning of a domain name. It has NEVER once in my life crossed my mind to type that in to an every day common word. I don't know anyone else either that would think of typing that in. The "e" before day care is just as good as adding any word after daycare for a made up domain name.
