An archive is a collection of historical records, and the location in which the collection is kept.[1] Archives contain records (primary source documents) which have accumulated over the course of an individual or organization's lifetime. The archives of an individual may include letters, papers, photographs, computer files, scrapbooks, financial records or diaries created or collected by the individual – regardless of media or format. The archives of an organization (such as a corporation or government) tend to contain other types of records, such as administrative files, business records, memos, official correspondence and meeting minutes. In general, archives consist of records which have been selected for permanent or long-term preservation, due to their enduring research value. Archival records are normally unpublished and almost always unique, unlike books or magazines for which many identical copies exist. This means that archives (the places) are quite distinct from libraries with regard to their functions and organization, although archival collections can often be found within library buildings. Archives located in for-profit institutions are usually those owned by a private business. Examples of prominent business archives in the United States include Coca-Cola (which also owns the separate museum World of Coca-Cola), Procter and Gamble, Motorola Heritage Services and Archives, and Levi Strauss & Co. These corporate archives maintain historic documents and items related to the history of their companies.[9] Business archives serve the purpose of helping their corporations maintain control over their brand by retaining memories of the company's past. Especially in business archives, records management is separate from the historic aspect of archives. Workers in these types of archives may have any combination of training and degrees, from either a history or library background. These archives are typically not open to the public and only used by workers of the owner company, although some will allow approved visitors by appointment.[10] Business archives are concerned with maintaining the integrity of their parent company, and therefore selective of how their materials may be used.Description provided by seller. This is a no reserve auction and bidding starts at $28. If your pre-bid is over $100 and it wins the auction, you will get a 2% cashback bonus. You may place your pre-bid now to instantly get in on the action.Good luck, and happy bidding!

Welcome to the "Live Auctions" tab!
This is the tab where all the started auctions appear. Here you may place a bid on any domain that is on auction. Once the auction ends and the BidoPrice is met, the high bidder wins the domain.
Live auctions run typically 4 days (bearing extensions). Auctions based on votes do not end on Saturdays, Sundays or official holidays. Auctions that were accelerated by sellers may end also over the weekend. Auctions run in 3 daily auction slots, as well as within Auction Events, as described on the Auction Schedule page.
Once the BidoPrice is met, all bids placed on live auctions are proxy bids that follow scales. This means, in case of outbid, Bido will place additional bids on your behalf up to your maximum bid.
When a bid is placed within the last 5 minutes of the auction, the auction will be automatically extended so it ends 5 minutes after the last bid that was placed.
Feel lucky? If the BidoPrice has not been met, the seller may choose to accept the highest Bid. When an auction ends with a winner, the auction automatically moves from this tab to the "Recent Sales" tab.

Welcome to the "Upcoming Auctions" tab!
This is the tab where all the upcoming auctions appear. While an auction is in the Upcoming Auctions tab, you may place a Pre-Bid on any domain at any time. By placing a Pre-Bid, the auction will be added to your "My Auctions" list (http://Bido.com/MyAuctions) and will be watched by you: Bido will send you a notification once the auction starts, as well as in a case of an outbid, so to make sure you do not miss the auction. Additionally, Pre-Bids placed on upcoming auctions are entitled to 2% cash back if they win. Pre-Bids are absolute bids (not proxy bids), and may be placed at any amount of your choice, from $38 and up, independent of other bids. Once an auction starts, the high Pre-Bid will be the initial bid of the auction. So it might be advisable to place a high Pre-Bid - higher than $38: Experience shows that a high initial bid may prevent others from joining the bidding, and thus may ensure your winning. When an auction starts, it automatically moves from this tab to the "Live Auctions" tab. Click "Continue" to view the items in this tab.
Welcome to the "Just Ended" tab.
This is the tab where all of the just ended auctions appear. After an auction ends, the auction automatically moves here from the "Live Auctions" tab. In addition, when an item on auction is purchased using Buy-It-Now, it will appear here as well.
Items purchased by private negotiations, or by Buy-It-Now while not on public auction, do not appear in this tab (sales of these are kept confidential).
You may use the filtering toolbar on the top to filter and sort the items that were recently sold, or that are still unsold.

This is the tab where all recently submitted domains appear. Here, you may place a bid on a domain, to immediately send it to a quick auction, that will last for just one day (24-hours). Also, some domains include a Buy-Now price for immediate purchase, which lets you skip auction and get the domain right away. You may also make a private offer to the seller on purchasing the domain, or just suggest the seller a lower BidoPrice. Here, You may also vote for domains to go to auction and earn money via Bido's Vote For Profits program.
